What is the difference between Barista Digital and Barista Bass?

Barista Digital is a digital course, which consists of over 15 training elements and which is both engaging and educational. These different steps you do in your own pace and there is no specific times for lectures, you take them when you want and have the time. The layout is adapted to be as good as possible digitally. Barista Bas is both the digital part, but in addition also 2 days of practical exercises. These 2 days focus on making coffee and learning how to make coffee drinks.

Is the course available in another language? / Is the course available in another language?

Yes, it can be taken in English. The digital material is in English including videos with English subtitles and also the final exam. During Barista Bas for the practical part, it is no problem to take it in English.

Do you need prior knowledge to attend any of the courses?

No previous knowledge is required to join Barista Bas or Digital. Both it and Barista Basic are aimed at people who do not have a background in the industry.

Is there an age limit?

No, no previous knowledge is required to take our courses. The courses are aimed at you with no or very little experience of the barista profession. This is your way of acquiring the basic knowledge, becoming attractive in the labor market and feeling secure in standing behind an espresso machine.

How long do you have to go to Barista Digital?

The digital course starts continuously, often at the beginning of the month. You have had 2 months to go through all the material and also write the test. It is not a must to write the test, but if you want to get grades in the course and a certificate that you have passed it, you need to write the test.

How many people are included in each course class at Barista Bas?

In order for the practical parts to be effective and for everyone to have good opportunities for a lot of exercises, we hold classes between 4 and 8 participants. There should be a high level of the course and plenty of opportunities to ask for help and clarification for all participants.

Do I get a diploma / certification / certificate on a completed exam when I finish?

Yes. Both courses give each their own certificate, which diplomas you as a barista .

Do you get a job after attending the course?

We can never guarantee that everyone gets a job after completing their education, but we know that many café owners and managers appreciate staff who are already fundamentally trained. Education is often seen as a sign that you are willing to put in the effort and really learn things - qualities that are highly valued in the industry.

Can I get my money back if I cannot attend as planned?

This applies to 14 days of open purchase on the courses. After that, you can not get your money back if you are prevented or otherwise unable to participate.

Should it be the case that for some reason we need to cancel a Barista Bas course, all participants will get their money back.

I run a café and want to train my staff, can you do that?

We have special courses for companies that want to train café staff. These can be kept with us or on site with you. Then it is not the participants themselves who pay, but the company pays for the training. These courses are often half-day or full-day, depending on how much knowledge the staff already has. What if I need to cancel a course?

If you have registered for a digital course, you have 14 days to cancel your purchase from the time you registered. However, this does not apply if you have started the digital course. Starting the course is considered to have received login information for the course platform and to have logged in there.

If you have registered for a barista course that is on-site, such as Barista Bas, you also have 14 days of free purchase from the time you register. If you need to cancel more than 14 days after the registration date, free purchase does not apply, however, we will always try to offer you to go at another suitable time if possible. 14 days of free purchase does not apply if you registered less than 14 days before the start of the course. The start of the course is considered when you have been granted access and logged in to the digital platform where the course preparation material is available.

What about in case of illness?

If you are registered for Barista Bas or any other course that is in a physical location, you should not participate if you are sick or have symptoms. If you are, please contact us and we will try to reschedule you for another time if possible.
